Northern Uganda Repair Endowment [NURE]
With a view to facilitating a restorative, healing and reintegrative process for the victim survivors and people of Northern Uganda including those who experienced re-victimisation, the Peace Justice and Security Foundation has established the Northern Uganda Repair Endowment [NURE].
The work funded by NURE will focus on supporting victims of atrocities in Northern Uganda using an integrative approach through community leadership that ensures accountability to donors in a desperately needed transitional justice restorative rebuilding program. Put simply, the aim is not to create victim dependency aid but to restore livelihoods after the horrors of the LRA. Please donate here.
