The Hague Process on Refugees and Migration

General introduction
“The Hague Process on Refugees and Migration” Foundation (THP) is a global initiative to advance the refugee and migration agenda. Established in 2000, its mission is to develop, explore and implement the ‘Declaration of The Hague on the Future of Refugee and Migration Policy’ based on the vision of a just world where refugees and migrants contribute to economic and social development, cultural richness and diversity without suffering discrimination and human rights violations.

To this end, THP:
• brings together a global network of stakeholders from a wide range of backgrounds
• generates innovative concepts and approaches in the field of refugee and migration policy
• functions as an independent catalyst for creative and innovative policy dialogue
• supports the Club of The Hague as a discussion forum of independent and prominent personalities
• promotes its mission through a limited number of key projects and cooperative efforts
