Case concerning the Status vis-à-vis the Host State of a Diplomatic Envoy to the UN (Dominica v. Switzerland)

The International Court of Justice is located at the Peace Palace, The HagueThe dispute submitted by Dominica on 26 April 2006 to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) concerned alleged violations of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and other rules and instruments of international law in relation to a diplomatic envoy of Dominica to the United Nations in Geneva by Switzerland. On 15 May 2006, the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica informed the ICJ that his Government did not wish to continue with the proceedings instituted against Switzerland. The case was removed from the list on 12 June 2006.
